SHIPPING DELAYED
The continuous tain has seriously affected shipping in port, and this afternoon all work on the waterfront was at a standstill. The Port Nicholson sailed this morning for London, but the loading of the liners Raranga, Mahia, and Hurunui has been interfered with, and unless conditions decidedly improve the departure of these steameTs for Londcjß. will probably be delayed.
