CHARGE AGAINST AN ACCOUNTANT
(IT lELMHAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.) MASTERTON, This Day. Ealph Henry Percy Cooke, formerly iccounttmt in the municipal gas department, Masterton, was to-day charged with stealing £54 10s 5d from the Masterton Borough Council. Counsel said accused intended to plead guilty, and asked for bail, bo that accused could assist in clearing up the defalcations in the books. Accused was remanded till 24th April. Bail was allowed.
