INDIAN BUDGET
REDUCING THE ARMY.

DELHI, 4th March.
The Government of India budget shows no important changes from last, year, except that the salt tax is doubled, which has already been hailed as another attempt to oppress the poor. A further large reduction in the strength, of the army is foreshadowed.
