AMERICANS IN CHAMPIONSHIP EVENTS
Should the American athletes, who are to appear at the Wellington provincial championship meeting on the 17th February be entitled to take the provincial championships? This question was briefly referred to at a meeting of the Wellington centre of the N.Z.A.A.A. last evening. ; It was explained that should the Americans win any championship events they -would take a firstprize certificate for the race, but, as. far as the championship itself went, they would not interfere, as the second man would take first points, third man second points, and fourth man third points.
