DAMAGE AT GREYMOUTH
GREYMOUTH, This Day.
Thought to have been caused by she backfiring of an engine into some oil and the bursting of a meter, a fire destroyed the municipal pumping station, Omoto road, last night. There were no insurances. . . ■ A small outbreak this morning, about 3 o'clock, in the storeroom of Messrs. Armstrong and Douglas, grocers, Mackay I street, damaged the grocery stocks and the building.
