MOTOR GARAGE AND CARS DESTROYED

INVERCARGILL, This Day. A destructive fire occurred'at Winton at 1 o'clock this morning, when Raines and Kincaid s motor garage was completely destroyed, including twenty-five cars, several new and others belonging to private- owners The cars were valued at £8000 and building at £2000. The insurances are: Building, £500 in the Commercial Union Office; stock, £1300 in the Queensland Office. Several of the private cars were uninsured.
