MAINTENANCE CASES
At the Magistrate's Oouri yesterday, Mr. E. Page, 8.M., dealt with ths following maintenance cases:— James Piti was ordered to pay 16s per week towards MW maintenance of his child.
With arreag amounting to £32 12s 6J, Arthur Morton was sentenced to one month's imprisonment, warrant to be suspended so long as he pays £1 7s 6d per week. Nicholas Bertanwes, who was £10 5s in arrears, was sentenced to one month's imprisonment, the warrant to be suspended so long as he contributes, 30s weekly. Robert Percy Hill, £28 in arrears, was sentenced to three months' imprisonment, the warrant to be suspended so long as £1 per week is paid. Edward Phillip Collins, £14 in arrears, was sentenced to one month's imprisonment, the warrant to be suspended so longl as 30s per week is paid. With arrears totalling £10' 10s, Michael Helm was sentenced to two months' imprisonment, the warrant to be suspended so long as he pays 30s per week.
