TO HELP THE RUHR
OVERTIME TO BE WORKED.
BERLIN, 27th January.
Collisions occurred on Friday between French troops and inhabitants of Dus^ seldorf, in which the soMiers were manhandled and several of their 3 rifles captured. German miners have- agreed to work overtime in order to make up for the diminution of the Ruhr production. The German Government proposes that all workers shall tacrifioe one hour's wages ■weekly, and that employers shall subscribe four times the workers' contribution in order to help the Ruhr workers.
