HEADLIGHT GLARE PROBLEM.
The fact that many minds are frt work on the problem of producing an antiglare headlamp was in evidence at a recent meeting of the Optical Sobiety,- held at tlie Imperial College of Soience ancfi Technology, London, Several papers were read dealing with the, numerous and complex optical problem, that arise, ano! it is clear that there is still much, diversity of opinion as to ,tho real cause of glare, and how to Eliminate it. A number of now, lamps and dovices were'shewn. The devices displayed included special forms of lonecs, and parabolic lind hemispherical reflectors, and, in certain oases, tho eleotrio bulbshad special filaments.
