MEALS COOKED ON THE CAR.
' Shortly it will be possible to enjoy a hot picnic lunoh, cooked on tho car whilo driving. The Motor understands that a very novel 'picnic outfit is now being produced, in which a joint and two' vegetables (for instance) will be oooked and water boiled for tea or coffeo while tho car is on its journey. There is a device to prevent overcooking. When ready for the meal, the outfit is opened, a table and a "dumb-waiter" of the collapsible type, being pulled out, so ttiat the me^l oan be served and eaton in style. It sounds like Maskolyne and Devant, but if it will do all that we have been told, this novel outfit should create a boom in picnicking.
