A NEW WINDSCREEN DEVICE.

The problem of obtaining a olear view through the wiridsoreen is becoming increasingly important as the closed oar gains in popularity with discriminating owners. A high-tention drop ooagulating screen was shown in public about eight years ago, and th© same designer has recently introduced a guard of great simplicity and possessing tho marked advantage that tho glass remains dry and cannot, therefore, suffer from the streakiness which is so trying to tho eyes at night in towns. The new devise is very simple, consisting of a shield, which is attached to the soreen in an instant by rubber euckers, and can be taken off without trouble by raising the edge'of the suoker and allowing air to enter. . It also'protects tho eye from sunglaro, and entirely does away with the troubles of wiping. The air trapped in the soreen [prevents, rain blowing in, apart from the actual shielding. The whole guard is msdoof aluminium.
