WELLINGTON.
Members of the Wellington Club turned out in good force on Saturday, when they were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Adam at Melling. 0. Rowberry and E. Williams were in charge of the paper, and laid a good trail of about five miles around Hutt Valley. A. Hose, deputy-captain, had charge of the pack, and an easy run right through was decided on. A halt was made about 300 yards from 'home, and a. handicap run-in was held, which resulted in a win for C. Caddick, with J. Yonng and T. Farrington in the places. Next Saturday the Palmer Cup race will come up for decision, over a course of three miles, starting from the residence of Mr. F. Eowberry, Lyall Bay.
