V.M.C.A. B v. GAS CO.
V.M.C.A. B defeated Gas Company by i goals to 1. Gass Company missed several opportunities of scoring in the first spell, and their only goal was registered by Bosler, in the second half, from : a cross-shot from the right wing. The I strong- cross-wind gave the players little chance of putting in any good play, but the goal-keepers were kept busy. Hollis, |-in particular, made some fine saves. Phillips, Donoghue, and Bing (2) scored for Y.M. Mr. F. Teagle was referee.
