Messrs. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having received the following cablegram from their London office under date of the 15th June:—
"Frozen Meat.—Quotation New Zealand prime crossbred lamb, Canterbury heavy, lOgd; light, llgd. North Island heavy, lOJd; light, 10£ dto lOjjd. Demand for New Zealand lamb active. Market firmer.'
"New Zealand prime crossbred, Canterbury heavy, 6d; light, 7^d. North Island heavy, s|d to 6d; light, 7d. Demand for New Zealand mutton poor. Market weaker.
"New Zealand prime ox beef hinds, 3f d ; fores, 2|d. Demand for New Zealand beef limited, prices nominal. "Good average quality crossbred lamb, Australian heavy, 9d; light, 9|d. Mutton heavy, s£d; light, s'|d. Demand for Australian lamb fair. Mutton poor."- '•■
