LONDON, 3rd March.
Mr. Austen Chamberlain, speaking at Oxford, said that Mr. Lloyd George had offered to resign if the Conservative leader thought a return to Party Government desirable. After consulting his colleagues, Mr. Chamberlain had replied to Mr. Lloyd George that the national ■ interests would be injured by hia resignation.
