SWIMMING CARNIVAL
FETE AT TE ARO BATHS. , A combined carnival organised by the Wellington Swimming and Maranui Life-saving Clubs is being held at; Te Aro Baths this afternoon. The weather conditions are ideal and there is a large attendance., Certain Provincial Championships aie being decided; also- the Walker and Hall flying .'squadron race. The chief attraction, no doubt, is the appearance of Miss Hoeft, the Auckland champion, whose performances during the recent championship meeting created Buch interest. The carnival was to conclude with the final of the water polo championship between Wellington and Maranui.
