HE STARTED AGAIN.
The first Order of the Day in the House of Representatives yesterday was the second reading of the Insurance Companies Deposits Bill. When this was called on, the Minister in Charge (the Hon. J. G. Coates] said that members would find the Bill described in the memorandum attached. He wished, however, to draw attention to one clause. This he did for a minute or two from a typewritten note. The •Leader of the Opposition appeared even . more interested than usual, but it was not until the Minister was aboxit to sit down that he intervened with a polite inquiry: "To what clause do your remarks refer ?" Thus it was that the Minister .turned up the Bill to find the clause. What he did find, however, was that he was on the wrong Bill,
