SENTENCE ON JOHN KINSELLA.

WANGANUI, This Day. John Kinsella, found guilty of manslaughter in connection with the Mangamalm tragedy, was sentenced this morning to 14 years' hard labour. Mr. Justice Hosking intimated that prisoner was exceedingly fortunate ho was not receiving a sentence on the moro serious charge, and intimated that the Act of last session would permit prisoner's case being review by the Prisons Boa-rd, so he would not lose- hope during tho substantial term.
