■ PRINCE OF WALES CUP..

For the qualifying round of the Prince of Wales Cup,l which was played off by the Miramar Golf Club on Saturday, the weather conditions were most unfavourable, and as a result the scores were affected. The winner of the round was L. B. Rhodes, with a net score of 79, one under bogey. This was, a fine performance under the circumstances. . The following 32 -players qualified :—L. B. The first round is to be played off within three weeks. The winner of the final will receive a handsome miniature cup, and will have his name engraved on the larger cup.
