NEWTOWN MARIST WIN SCHOOL ■ CHAMPIONSHIP. i ' By their win from Thorndon Marist * by two goals to nil, at Anderson -Park yesterday afternoon, the Newtown Marist boys won the schools Association championship for the 1921 season. Good footwork was shown by both teams, the Thorndon forwards especially, and when half-time was called neither side had scored. In the second half, Wilson and W. Condon scored for Newtown. For Newtown, Mahoney, Fitzgerald, Minogue, and Condon we're most conspicuous, and on the Thorndon side Harding, M'Donnell, and O'Halloran were the best. Mr. A. E. Wells was the referee. In the junior; grade, Wprsev Bay have again won the shield, going through the seasoa, without a defeat. Tho Wellington school team will leave for Dunedin by the ferry steamer (omorrow night,- returning ori Wednesday next. week. They will play against the Canterbury and Dunedin school repr& sentatives.
