THE TRAMWAY RETURNS,

CREDITS INSTEAD OF DEBITS.

Figures presented to the Traanwaya Committee yesterday afternoon »or the four weeks ended 21st July last showed that there was an increase in tlhe revenue as compared Yiitli the corresponding period of last year of £3581. Working expenses increased by £2091,----and capital charges by £483. The •credit balance for the month was £472, whereas for the period ended 2l«rt July, 1920, there was a debit of £4*l. Details of the four weeks' return are as follow, the figures for the corresponding period of last year also being shown:—
