The Auckland v. Otago match has ended in" a tie, each club scoring eight The Masterton and Oamaru clubs have each scored a one-point win from Otago, both finishes being very exciting. In the Nelson v. Oamaru match eight games out of twelve are marked incomplete, and are being adjudicated tyi. In the Nelson v. Otago match no less than nine games out of fifteen have been reserved for adjudication. The Masterton v. Palmerston and Masterton v. The return match was played 50 years later to celebrate the jubilee, viz., in 1916. ' On this occasion the Nelsonians won, the match being jocularly described as "The Second Trafalgar, or Nelson's Revenge!"
