Burgess (last year's winner), 6-1; H. M. Ashe, 9£-s£; D. Bruton, 5-1; F. H. Ryan, 5-3; J. Coulter, 5^5; and W. J. Fairburn, 6-6. Each competitor has to,account for^l9 games.. ~
