SUCCESSFUL REUNION
The six^h annual reunion of the Wellington Poultry Fanciers', Utility Breeders, and Exhibitors' Club was held on Saturday night in the Ponsonby Hall, Abel Smith-street, when Mr. T. Doig presided over a gathering fol sixty members and friends. The following toasts were honoured: —"Wellington Sooiety" (Messrs. Doig and Gallichan); "Kindred Clubs" (Messrs. Caldwell. Clark, Graham, and Fesrn); "Successful Exxhibitors" (Messrs. Davey and Webster); "Utility and Fanciers' Chib" (Mr. F. C. Brown and Mr. T. Doiff); "Unsuccessful Exhibitors" (Messrs. G. FearrT and A. Thomas). The musical programme, provided by the Lyric Quartetto (Measrs, W. Goudie, F. Campbell, H. Phipps, and W. Brown), was a most enjoyable one. The president (Mr. T. Doig) after a few well-chosen remarks, distributed thp following trophies: Utility Section—Challenge shield for most ppinta in utility classes, Milk's cup for best bird in show, £3 3s trophy, and two cups for best Leghorn and best orpingtcn, G. Webster; cup for best Rhode Island Red, A. Robiiiaon; cup for. best Plymouth rock, J, L. Bolton; cup for best Minorca, J. Allen; cup for best brown Leghorn, G. H. Cpleman; oup for best wyandotte, HY. Caldwell; returned soldiers' medal, E. James. Fanfcy Section™Orpkigton shield, oup (best orpington), and £10 10s trophy, F. Marriott; oup,"'best Leghorn,E. James; oup, beßt modern game, J. Perrett; R.I.R. shield and cup for best Rhode Island Red, Mrs. J. Bullon; two cups for best brown Leghorn, L, G. Brown; cup for best young game bantam), J Ball; oup, boat wyiindotte a)nd bsefc bantam, any colour, "A, Doigi cup for best Bumburg, W, Lingarcl; cup, for beet Minorca, J.
