RAIN IN PROSPECT
To-day's weaiiher forecast !is gloomy as the sky. Unsettled andi cloudy conditions are to 'be looked for, witjh rain to- follow generally, sufficient in the WEst coast and Southern districts to flood the rivers. Snow is likely on the high country, and colder weather will be experienced. Northern parts will have northerly winds, changing to westerly ; here and southward, westerly winds, strong to gale, are promised. Heavy seas are looked for everywhere.
