BOXING
Tho keen demand for soata which was in cvitlonco on the opening of the box plan for tho Williams-Dwyor contest c on Monday has continued, and there will probably be a big crowd to see the sport provided. Quito an exceptional number of enquiries have como from outside districts, particularly Hastings and Napier, and this is probably duo to tho desire of enthusiasts there to again see the two men imeet after thfcdr first battle in Napier, which was given as a draw. Dwyer is wonderfully olever in getting out of trouble without taking advantage of the all-too-much favoured method of clinching. Tho preliminaries have undergone a slight alteration, Kelly, tho local bantam, replacing Pearce in the * contest with the Napier boy, M'Kenzie.' , Tho box plan will remain open until o'clock on Monday afternoon, while tickets for day sales will be procurable until 5 o'clock. Patrons are particularly requested to note that entrance to tho hall will be through tho Wakefield-streot door, instead of tho usual main Cuba-streot entrance.
