ST. MARY'S BAZAAR.

1 St. Mary's Bazaar, at the Town Hall, has,but two more nights and a matinee to-morrow to run, . and no doubt the success of tho earlier part of the week will be maintained,, ami the *uirt total raised so satisfactory that tie new St. Mary's Chtu-ch may be completed in the near future. Last evening an altogether pleasing programme of dancing' was given by the. pupils of Miss Kathleen 0 Brien, the items being as follow:— Ballet, "By the Sea," danced by a dozen 'clever children, with Una Smith as soloist; Dutch dance, by Zita Hare; toe dance, By Nancy Gjllespie; Egyptian daiice, by Wilma Rather; "Military Ballet," by a dozen of the pupils; Irish jig and a difficult Russian gopak, by Gladys Smyth; toe dance, "Humoresque," by Frances Clisby; and a very pretty ballet as finale, "Beam et Belles," by ten of the pupife. By special requost, the pupils of Miss O'Brien will present the programme at the special matinee on Saturday afternoon. To-night the pupils of Miss Dorothy Saunders will give another of their excellent dancing displays, including a Russian "Folk Dance," by the Misses Nichols, Saunders, M'Kenzie (2), and Mr. Joe Knowsley, as soloist. ,

The queen contest is providing lots of excitement and guess work on the final result. Yesterday's returns • leave Miss Mary M'Evedy with a lead of some 18,000 odd votes, a substantial lead indeed, but one that may be greatly reduced and' even wiped out before the final figures go up. Miss Card and Miss Ellis are running \ very close for second 1 position, only 200 separating them. The samg remark applies to Miss Chewdson | and Miss Rutter, who are'within 200 votes of each other. The following is the voting to , date:—Miss Mary M'Evedy, Armagh Stall, 66,276; Miss Ila Card, Wellington Stall, 47,451; Miss Cecilia Ellis, Rhehns Stall, 47,190; Miss Kathleen Crewdson, \v estminster Stall, 29,670; Miss Mollie Rutter, St. Vincent de Paul Stall, 29,438.
