Marcelle, an American ' entertainer, will appear in the Grand Opera. House with his company of American ! vaudeville arti.sts on- Saturday night. M>r,celle arrived from America by the Makura with.a strong company and big specialty acts. Each act has its special scenery and effects. The artists include George Edward' Barnes (burlesque character singer and dancing comedian, who was featured for two years on Broadway, New, York),' Margaret Claranco : (in a repertoire of popular and classical New fork song .hits), William M-Boiigall ("The Scotch Highball" piper and instrumentalist, introducing an originalsatire,. "A wee bit of Scotch"), Robert Marshall (in .the novelty act, "Fun in Toylarid"), the Marclacos Cartoon Artists, Chief Spotted Horse (a character Indian impersonator), Mdme. Maerne (in the "Mysteries of the Great Beyond"), and Marcelle, in a igorgeous act, "The Palace of Pekin." Marcelle was granted permission to photograph and sketch the interior\of the palace, and the scenery is said to be a faithful replica of the Palace of Pekin.
