LONDON, 7th August. Mr. -Massey, in an article in the. Sunday Times, says: "The work of constructing the 'Empire is. now proceeding upon,,lines which miist take account of the nationhood of the Dominions. It .is. a.-stage in the Empire's history when wisdom, foresight, and inspiration are mosti urgently required. . Reconstruction is most important, for tho growth of thp Dominions will be rapid. They will have in a comparatively few years resources in manhood and developed wealth many times,greater than to-day. With this power behind them,.they will push on vigorously towards the attainment of their ideals."
