LONDON, 16th .April. In the final of the covered courts championships singles,- Crawley beat Lycett, 4-6, 14-16, 7-5, 9-7, 6-3. it was a record match for covered courts, lasting three hours and a half. Lycett was within a point of the match seven times in the fourth set. . '
In the mixed doubles Fisher and Mrs. Peacock beat Lovibond aijd Mrs. Lambert Chambers, 6-0, 7-5. In the challenge round singles Goheri (France) beat Crawlev, 6-2, 6-4, 4-6 0-6, 7-5.
