SYDNEY, 16th April. The Tennis Association is sending a cable message to France to ascertain if she is prepared to send a team to Australia and New Zealand at the end of the year, including Mademoiselle Lenglen. . /
It was also decided to establish a competition open to all Australian States and New Zealand on Davis Cup lines, the winner to hold the Anthony Wilding Gup. which w^s won by Wilding in competitions and presented to Australian tennis by his paxents. . Western Australia was granted the right to hold the Australasian championships in December next.
