NEW APPOINTMENT
ASSISTANT PUBLIC SERVICE
COMMISSIONER.
It is announced jljhat Mr. P. D. N. Verschaffelt has been appointed Assistant Public Service Commissioner in succession to Mr. F. V. Frazer, S.M., now President of tho Arbitration Court. Mr. Verschaffelt is at present Chief Accountant at the Head Office of the Public Trust. His connection with the Public Service dates back to Ist January, 1904, when he was appointed, to the Land and Survey Department. He was transferred to the office of the Public ■Service Commissioner on Ist February, 1913, and was appointed secretary to the Commissioner on Ist January, 1915. This position ho relinquished when promoted to the post of Controller of the Wills, Trust, and Agencies Division of the Public Trust Office, on Ist May, 1919. He is an LL.B. and a professional accountant.
