Dr. Warren H. .Young,' of Greytown, has been appointed medical superintendent of.the Tauranga Hospital. ' .'
Mr. George Latta, of the Palmerston North Branch of>the Bank of Australasia, has been transferred to Te Kuiti.
Lieutenant, A.. G. Scholes, N.Z.S.C, who recently graduated from Duntroon Military College, will join the strength of the Palmerston North Group Office next week. '
Arrangements have besi. made with the Eev. Mr. Heathcote, who is relinquishing the. charge of the Unitarian Church,, at Adelaide, South Australasia,) to minister to the Unitarian Free Church in this city for a period of three' months. Advice has been received that Mr. Heathcote leaves Australia for Wellington on. the 17th. of next month j . ■ •\Mr: E ; B. S. Hill, who has resigned his position as manager of the'designing and lithographio departments of. Messrs. Turnbull,' Hickson, and' Gooder, ;was entertained by the staff last evening. Eulogistic speeches were made by Messrs. Turnbull, Costello, Godber, and Winchcomb, and Mr. Hill w!as presented with' a smoker's companion, and Mrs. Hill with a cake stand.
