RONA BAY FATALITY
Further particulars of the sad drowning fatality at Rona. Bay yesterday, afternoon show that the. deceased, Richard Winter, 15 years of ago, and three others boys had been staying with a friend in a whitre at Ron a Bay. About noon yesterday thay'' procured an Bft dinghy to go for a row. There was a fairly heavy swell, and the sea was rough and choppy, but thay decided to pull along the shore to Muritai. When nearly opposite the Lower Boacon the dinghy struck a rock and capsized. The other boys, Alien Murray,' 12 years, Thomas Adams, 13 years, and Ernest Mollisr, 12 years, managed to get ashore, but deceased apparently sank immediately. Constable W. D Thompson, of Eastbourne, was notified, and arrived shortly afterwards. The body was found an hour and a-half later in tea feet of water among the rocks and kolp close to the' shore. An inquest will be held on Monday morning.
