At the quarterly meeting of officebearers of tho Kilbirnie Methodist Circuit, the Rev. F. T. Read presided. Reports showed that church attendances and finances thoroughly satisfactory. Mention was made of the faolf that Mr T. Fathers/ had retired from the superintendenoy of tho Maranui Sunday Sohoof ajter ten years' service, and a resolution appreciative of his work was ordered to be recorded in the minutes. A resolution of thanks was also recorded to the looal preachers (both local and visiting), who, by their voluntary assistance, had made possible.the carrying on of the services, in the district. The election of cirouit stewards resulted in the reappoinfcmeht of Messrs. Fathers and M. Cablo, while Mr., P. S. Latham wad chosen as representative &t- tho forthcoming conference, with Mr. Fathers as substitute.
