..The Quarterly ~meeting of the Tborndoh Methodist Church Was held this «6ck, the Rev.. C. C. Harrison presiding. The Rev. G. E. Brown and 26 officials we'rfe present. The membership returns showed 231 senior and 99 junior. Very satisfactory reports were/ received from the various Sunday*school3 end Bibleolasses in the oircuit. The chairman reported that the amount received by circuit and trust treasurers {luring tho'quarter totalled £633 12s 3d, with a credit bilanoe of £3 19s 9d. To provide for. increased, expenditure during the '• year, it was arranged that special harvest festivals be held throughout the circuit in the moiith of March. Messrs. E. Trcglifthii. arid A. Swift were, elected circuit stewards, arid Mr. J. F. -: Hill circuit auditor. Mr. IS. B. Ash wits elected us. lay representative to the.conference. .
