A STRANGE BIRD
On exhibition to-day at 118, Courte-nay-place, opposite His Majesty's Theatre, there will be what is considered to be the most wonderful bira .in th& world. The curiosity was reared by Mrs. Gunning Davis, a lady of Western Australia, who brought it to New Zealand. The left side of the remarkable creature is male anct the .right'side female. It has four different legs, two of them coming front the spine. The bird is a handsome White Orpington fowl, having, two bodies within one frame. It crows like a rooster, and cackles like.- a hen. The most notable features are its two different comb?) .wattles, taili, 4 legs, one head, and two bodies (in the one frame). The Curiosity walks like an ostrich, flies like a pheasant, makes its ownnnesst s and is father of many chickens. The hen lays an egg which js -.tot fertile. .The bird is physically health* md absolutely genuinei .
