MAGISTRATE'S COURT
' Messrs. J. W. Ellison and M. C. O'Connell, J.P.s, presided at the Magistrate's Court to-day. Leonard Griffiths and Leslie Valentine were remanded till Wednesday on charges of having been found by m^iit on the premises of; 48 Willis-street.- SubInspector Emerson said that the police wished to make inquiries :^bout the theft of a. came* from an hotel where tho youths had been, spying. A youth named TVilliam B. Norman was convictejl iipoi) a. charge of having unlwfully.'.converted a motor-cycle belonging ■to David Woodward to" his own use. ..The machine was taken from Kilbirnie, and was ridden by Norman, accompanied by a passenger, on a.n afternoon spin. A| penalty of £2 was imposed, 14 clays being allowed Norman to find the money.
