MILITARY CENSORSHIP.
The military censorship is still operating to the annoyance of some people. The subject was brought up in the House of Representatives yesterday by Mr. H. E. Holland (Buller), who urged that the Prime Minister should take steps to end the censorship, and, to prove that it was still in existence, he exhibited a letter stamped " Passed by the Military Censor." He reminded the Prime Minister that he had told the House some time ego that the censorship was at an end. Mr. Massey replied that the position was that the censorship would have to be removed by statute. That was provided for in the War Regulations Continuance Bill, which he was waiting to put through the House.
