■ PALMERSTON N., 15th April. The headquarters staff of the Wellington military district have made the following arrangements, subject to the approval of the Mayor and Borough Council, in connection with the Prince of Wales' visit to Palmerston North on 3rd May:—The Prince will arrive by train at 2.10 p.m., and will be met by tho Mayor and civic officials, and conducted to the rotunda or an improvised dais in The Square. Here a civic address will be presented by the Mayor, and the Prince will present decorations to returned soldiers. After inspecting tho parade of veterans, returned soldiers, territorials, and senior cadets, Hie Royal Highness will adjourn to another section of The Square, where he will meet the representatives of the Te. Awe Awe tribe of Maoris. The Prince and suite will thin drive slowly round: The Square in motor-cars, the streets being, lir.ed with children, of whom it is expected about 7000--will be present from the schools in Palmerston North arid the adjacent districts. Subsequently the Prince will be taken to the Esplanade, and if time permits will drive to tbe hospital and open the two new wards. He will depart by train at 4 p.m. The annual installation of the W.M. and investiture of officers of Lodge Manawatu Kilwinning, N. 47, took place last ■ night, the installing ceremony being conducted by B.W. Bro. D. M'Farlane, P.G.M., of Wanganui. Bro. E. R. G. Tucker was installed as W.M., and thb officers invested were as follows: — 1.P,M.,- Bro. E. R," B. Holben; S.W., Brol'.JS. V. West; J.W., Bro. W.
