CHANGEABLE AND SQUALLY
Strong and squally north-westerly winds have ruled since yesterday morning south of New Plymouth and Castlepoint, and skies are generally cloudy today. Heavy rain fell, on the West Coast, but locally the fall was very slight. The forecast is for squally and changeable weather, -probably very much colder. Westerly winds, strong to gale, are likely to change round to the south.
