AUCTION SALES
Messrs. Harcourt and Co. advertise the following sales : —On Tuesdajr, furniture at 28, Brougham-street, at 1 p.m. ; on Wednesday, a residence, No. , 134, Onepu-road ; and on the 16th, a building site in Cuba-street, just above Vivianstreet.
Messrs. A. L. Wilson and Co. will hold a sale of furniture, plant, and fittings, at the V.M.C.A. Men's Hostel, Boulcott-street, on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday if necessary, commencing each day at 10.30 a.m. On Wednesday they will soil, at their rooms, at 2.30 p.m., seven building sites on Cliftonterrace, and on Friday, at 11 a.m., they will dispose of a shipment of glassware, Japanese mats, etc. Messrs. Longmore and Co. will sell, on 14th May, at the Oddfellows' Hall, Lambton-quay, various city and suburban properties. Messrs. J. H. Bethune and Co. will sell on Wednesday, at 1 p.m., at their rooms, Featherston-street, a collection of books, comprising 1300 volumns. On the 14th inst., at their rooms, at 2 p.m., in the estate of the late A. H. Turnbull, they will sell water colours, oil paintings, historical engravings, etc. Mr. A. T. Trendle will sell by auction at the Central' Auction Rooms, Cubastreet, high-class furniture and effects, motor cycle, etc., on Monday next, at 2 o'clock.
On Tuesday next, at 2.30 p.m., Messrs S. George Nathan and Co. sell by auction, at their rooms, Customhouse-quay, the residence of Dr. Hector, at Lower Hutt, and a ten-roomed residence in Hobson-streefc. On the following day, at the A.B.C. Garage, Lambton-quay, several motor-cars and a delivery van will be offered.

Williams and Co., sell by auction, on Tuesday nest, at 1.30 p.m., on tho "premises, 24, Mac Donald-crescent, the contents of five-roomed flat On Wednesday and Friday, at 2 o'clock, furniture and general in the Auction Arcade, Courtenay-place. Messrs. E. Johnston and Co. hold sales as follow :—Monday, at 1.30, at No. 8, Rata-road, Hataitai; Tuesday, at 1 o'clock, at No. 2, Hadfield-terrace; Wednesday, at 11.30, in rooms, Lamb-ton-quay ; Thursday, at 10.30, at 29, Hobson-street, on account of Mrs. Hiley.
