NATIONAL BANK OF NEW ZEALAND
NEW SHARE ISSUE POSTPONED.
(AUSTRALIAN-NEW ZEALAND CABLE ASSOCIATION.) (UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION.—COPYRIGHT.).
LONDON, 2nd May. The National Bank of New Zealand issue has been postponed.
[It was proposed that 100,000 new shares at a premium of £3 per share should be issued ; of these 50,000 were to be allotted to shareholders, and 50,000 were to be taken up by Lloyd's Bank, Ltd. This would have brought the banlc's combined paid-up capital and reserves to over £2,000,000. The management of the National Bank would have remained unchanged, although certain directors of Lloyd's would have joined the National Board.]
