Looal brokers held their hide sales yesterd»y. The majority ofhldrs were taken by tanners at schedule rates. i'or the cow and inferior lots not taken by tanners there was fair, competition at last sale rates. The following is the range of prices:—Ox, heavy, 12W ,to 14d; medium, IOJd to 12Jd; light, 9Jd to 121 d; cow, heavy, lid; medium, IOJd to 12d' light, 9}d to lid; slippy and inferior, 5Sd to lljd; bull, stag, 7-kl to 9d; yearlings, Od to 14d; calf, superior," 13fd to lOd; mediumgood, 14d to 17Jd; damaged, 4d to 16d. Tallow.—ln casks, 26s 6d to 325; in tins, 12s to 2Ss 6d. . Horsehair, 5d to 12d; tails, 6d to Od.
