Dalgety and Co, report having held their fortnightly sale at Upper Hutt on Wednesday, when they offered a good yarding of sheep and cattle. The following are the principal, quotations:—Two-tooth ewes, to 23s 3d; forward ewes, lOs to 18s Id; ewes in lamb to b.f.r., 16s; woolly lambs, 15s 2d; fat maiden heifers, £8 4s to £10 2s; fat cows, £8 7s Od to £9; 2}-year steers, £7 to £8 2s 6d; 2-year steers, £6 3s to £6 10s; yearling steers, £2 17s 6d; empty 2-year aeifers, £5 7s 6d to £7 7s 6d; cows with calves at foot, £8 to £10 10s; springing cows, £9 to £13; cows in calf, £5 18s to £6 15s; 2-year s.h. bull, £9.
