TAKAPUNA MEETING

(BI IBUORAPB.—PBBSS ASSOCIATION.) AUCKLAND, 30th January. The Takapuna races were continued in fiuo weather to-day. There was a large attendance. The totalisator takings wore £34,933, as against £38,860 on the corresponding day of last year. Remaining results: —

Alison Cup, of 550 aovs; one mile and' two and a.-half furlongs.—l Tinopai, 8.7 (Rcutiio), 1; 2 Form Up, 7.8, 2; 6 All Talk, 7.2, 3. Also started : 4 All Over 8.9, 8 Boyal Irish 7.7, 3 Waiuta 7,7, 7 Athens 11. 7:0, 11 Minister 7.0, 10 Bine Cross 6.13, 5 Tabasco 6.11, 9 Lady Energy 6.7, 12 Analogue 6.7. Won comfortably by a'length. All Talk, was a head away.. Time, 2min 14 4-sfiec. Tabasco and* Athens 11. fell. Cambrai Handicap, of 250 oovs; five furlongs.—4 Mifitreiss Biddy, 7.0 (tfuesoy),

1; 6 Finkop, 7.7, 2; 5 Princess Charming, 7.10, 3. Also started: 2 Canowindra 8.2, 1 No Mistake 7.12, 5 Dixies land 6.12 (coupled with Princess Charming), 8 Emerald Hill 7.7, 7 Clonmel 7.7, 3 Heather Moon 7.4, 9 Valley Queen 6.12. A good race. Won by a neck, a head between second and third. Time, lmin 3 .4-ssec.

Vauxhall Handicap, of 200 aovs; seven furlongs.—l Hineamaru, 8.6 (Deeley), 1; 10 Step, 7.9, 2; 3 Caballero, 8.0, 3. Also started: 6 Principal Lady 8.9, 2 Independence 8.8, 4 Revenue 8.1, 5 Sanacre 7.13, 7 New Zealand 7.1, 8 Empire 7.1, 9 Rome 7.0. Won by a length, three lengths between second and third. Time, lmin 30sec.

Tiri Hurdles, of 250 soys; one mile and three-quarters.—2 Thrace, 11.13 (Stan Reid), 1; 3 Tenacious, 9.9, 2; 1 Loyal Arch, 12.2, 3. Also started : 4 Otter 10.10. Won easily by two lengths ; three lengths between second and third. Time, omin 20 l-ssec.

V Cheltenham Hack, of 300 soys; six furlongs.—3 Bedford, 8.11 (Ryan), 1; 4 Stilts, 7.9, 2; 6 Rockfield, 8.1, 3. Also started : 1 Downham 8.10, 5 Kereone 7.11, 2 King Abbey 7.4. Won by a length, three "lengths between eecond and third. Time', lmin 15sec.
