UNPLEASANT WEATHER
Unpleasant conditions, cloudy, v* settled, and squally, with rain in all parts, have been experienced during the weekend, and since last evening tho high westerly winds have ohanged round to Boutherlies, with a rising barometer. The forecast issued this morning does not hold promise of brighter conditions for the next twenty-four hours, for a continuance of cold, changeable, and showery weather is indicated, with enow on tho higher levels in the northern districts of the South Island. Southerly winds, moderate to strong and squally at times,, are probable.
