RECRUITING ORGANISATION
The Director of Recruiting, Captain Cossgrove,. has. just completed successful conferences with the group commanders of the districts in Wellington, Auckland, and Canterbury. He will leave for the South Island on Tuesday next to meet the Otago Group Commanders at Dunedin. The recruiting organisation is now reported to be working- veTy smoothly, • but- the slackening'of'work, owing'to the" cessation of ballots for. the. time being, is being taken advantage-of-to review the existing, system and- introduce any little improvements which may be found advis- 1 able. With this end in view the Direc■ioE—of....Recruiting ..was., present during rfchszzws^SratJon'. of-the"- whole oi the last draft, and was able to see the complete system in operation.
