TWO ACCIDENTS

Mr.- William John .Martin, of 26, -Murphy-street,-was admitted to the Wellington Hospital yesterday afternoon suffering from severe injuries to his back. He was inspecting a building at 91a, Cuba-street, when he missed his footing and fell down a stairway. He" is making satisfactory progress. Shortly after 7 o'clock last evening the Hospital ambulance was ■ summoned to Manners-street, where Mr. Arthur Rolleston had been found lying unconscious in the street. He was taken to the Hospital, and was found to be suffering from a cut on the head. He regained consciousness after a time, tut was to-day reported to be in a semi-con-scious state.
