MEXICAN OIL LANDS
AN ARBITRARY DECREE TO BE
ALTERED,
(AUSTRALIAN-NEW ZEALAND CABLE ASSOCIATION.) WASHINGTON, 17th August.
President Carranza has undertaken to alter the decree whereby undeveloped' oil lands belonging to Mexicans or foreigners might be seized upon the owners' failure to submit to high taxation. The United' States made vigorous representations on this subject.
